The Afterlife of Leo Heindrichs
A requiem mass and denied canonization
Leo Heinrichs, I wrote of before. He is the priest who was shot and killed while distributing communion. He died while holding Jesus.
Soon after his death, he had his requiem mass. It was heavily attended, as seen by Transit Venus on his Neptune: “A welcoming (Venus) Group (Neptune);” “Kind (Venus) Believers (Neptune);” “Many (Neptune) Guests (Venus).”
Transit Sun conjunct his Jupiter = “Forever Venerated;” “Respected (Jupiter) Eternally (Sun).”
Transit Neptune conjunct his Uranus = “Sent (Uranus) to Heaven (Neptune);” “Delivered (Uranus) Up-Above (Neptune);” “Traveling (Uranus) Upwards (Neptune);” “Departing (Uranus) to the Clouds (Neptune).”
Jupiter, Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in aspect. Early Leo is ruled by Mars. Religious (Jupiter) Action (Mars), showing a religious ritual such as the holy mass. Mercury is showing the ritual is communicating a Name (Mercury), such as is done at requim masses where the deceased’s name is said in the mass. “Ceremonial (Jupiter) Talk (Mercury);” “Describing (Mercury) a Citizen (Jupiter);” “Name (Mercury) of a Cleric (Jupiter).”
Transit Mars and Natal Mars are both at 2 degrees aspecting Transit Medium Caeli at 2 Aquarius. This shows an action (Mars) by the Catholic Church (Neptune) communicating (Mercury) for the Dead (Saturn).
Transit Ascendant aspecting his Sun and Moon. This is a powerful indicator that something regarding him is happening.
Leo Heinrichs had his cause for beatification opened in 1938. Two years later, on August 13, 1940, his cause was denied with no notification. Decades later, investigative journalists inquired through the Vatican as to what the result was of Leo Heinrichs’ cause. They only got in reply that Leo Heinrichs cause was denied due to a “grave matter.” No one was able to identify what the grave matter was.
We can see this denial in the transits on his birth chart. August 13, 1940, was during a Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.
Transiting Sun, and his natal Sun, squaring his natal Saturn: “Glory (Sun) Denied (Saturn).” The Great Conjunction is at a semisextile with Heinrich’s Neptune, Heaven and Catholic Church, showing the activity is connected to his beatification cause. hTransiting Jupiter and transiting Saturn conjunct his Pluto spell the same thing: "Denial (Saturn) of Glory (Jupiter)." Or “Unfit (Pluto) for Godliness (Jupiter).” Or “No (Pluto) Glory (Jupiter) in Death (Saturn).”
A denial of canonization simply means the Church does not see a cult of veneration as proper for Leo Heinrichs or that something procedurally keeps the Church from being able to canonize him (perhaps no access to needed information on him). This is not the Church closing the gates of Heaven to Heinrichs, nor has the Church forbidden local veneration of him. Leo Heinrichs is still venerated by many American Catholics.
