Prenatal Chart and Stigmata and Cure and Death of St. Gemma Galgani
Validating prenatal charts through events
On the vigil of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mary, Jesus, and Gemma’s Guardian Angel appeared before her (not unusual for Gemma). Mary told Gemma to make an Act of Contrition.1 The Guardian Angel was standing next to Mary. After Gemma made the prayer, Mary then said, “Daughter—In the name of Jesus, your sins are forgiven.” Then she added: “Jesus my Son loves you very much, and He wishes to give you a grace. Do you know how to make yourself worthy of it?” Gemma did not know how to answer. Mary continued “I will be your Mother. Will you be a true daughter?” Mary then covered Gemma with her cloak. Jesus stood with his Five Wounds open and flames of fire shot out from them and at Gemma. The flames entered Gemma in her hands, feet, and heart. Mary held Gemma, who was collapsed in her arms, dying from the pain. Gemma laid in her arms for hours. Finally, Mary kissed her on the forehead and the vision vanished. Gemma was lying on the floor in pain and blood.
>“I had to remain several hours in that position. Finally she kissed me on my forehead, and all vanished, and I found myself kneeling on the floor. But I still felt an intense pain in my hands, feet and heart. I arose to go to bed, and I then noticed that blood was flowing from those parts where I felt pain. I covered them as well as I could, and then with the help of my angel2, I was able to go to bed.
>These sufferings and pains, although they afflicted me, filled me with perfect peace. The next morning I was able to go to Communion only with great difficulty, and I put on a pair of gloves in order to hide my hands. I could hardly stand on my feet, and I thought I would die at any minute.”
The wounds remained until 15:00 that Friday. From then on, the wounds appeared and blood flowed every Thursday night at 20:00, to disappear Friday afternoon at 15:00, leaving behind a white discoloration.
Gemma wrapped and her hid her wounds. She didn’t know what happened. So, Gemma would try to covertly ask others about it, thinking maybe the reception of Jesus’ wounds was something that happens to other people. She finally decided to be open about it and displayed her crucifixion wounds to her aunt telling her “Look what Jesus did to me.”
PRENATAL CHARTS
Prenatal charts show the astrological conception of the person. They may or not may not coincide with the moment of conception in the womb (just as a natal chart may not be the exact minute of birth). More specifically, these are conception charts I’m using, derived from the work of E.H. Bailey. There are other types of conception charts from the work of Charles Jayne. These show the development in the womb and are to show how the soul develops and can be used with the birth chart to show things. I’m not done studying those to see whether I find them useful in my work.
We see the same type of pattern on Gemma’s prenatal chart as we do in her natal and other stigmatist charts: The Uranus-Mars aspect (Sudden Wounds). In fact, here it is a conjunction of Mars on her prenatal Uranus. This Mars also squares her prenatal Pluto, where her Natal Mars is, as well as Algol. We also have Neptune conjunct her natal Mercury, in Gemini, opposing Gemma’s Jupiter and Transit Juno in Sagittarius. “Heaven (Neptune) Asks (Mercury) Virgin (Jupiter) Girl (Venus) to be Extraordinary (Uranus) Penitent/Sacrifice (Juno).” We also have Transit Uranus conjunct her prenatal Juno opposing Transit Mercury. We get the same thing “Asked to be Extraordinary3 Sacrifice.” In transit, It is a Sun-Pluto-Moon conjunct opposing transit Saturn. These square her prenatal Saturn. Transit Sun is parallel her Sun and Venus. The Sun-Pluto-Moon-Saturn spell out “Girl (Moon) is Living (Sun) Sacrificial (Saturn) Victim (Pluto).” The Sun-Sun parallel show this is a siginificant day for Gemma.
The observant astrologer, may also notice this happened during an eclipse. We wrote of this before. Suffice to say eclipses interrupt the currents headed to earth and thus disrupt the normal working of things on earth.
You can also see the Medium Caeli heading towards a conjunct with Gemma’s prenatal Medium Caeli. This conjunct may be the exact moment of the stigmata. If so, the time would be 20:46:37 when the two MCs move conjunct. This would also place the MC in aspect with everything just noted.
Gemma’s prenatal chart also checks out for her miraculous cure. Gemma suffered from spinal tuberculosis (Pott’s Disease). However, she hid the pain and ailments from it as part of her penatentive life and aversion to doctors. So, the illness progressed unknown to others for a long time, and then untreated after being discovered. It progressed to the point that Gemma became a hunchback and then ended in a Catholic hospital near death. She had tumors on her head (a Plutonic ailment) and other parts of her body. She was losing hair. The doctors wanted to operate, but found her too weak to survive an operation. Throughout her illness, doctors would cauterize her spine and Gemma refused to take any type of pain killer to maximize her pain and suffering. Pluto (abscesses and tumors) is squaring Gemma’s Natal Mercury (head) and parallel both her Neptune and Uranus.
Gemma initially prayed to Bleesed Margaret Mary Alacoque for healing. This was at the direction of Msgr. Volpi. Volpi promised her she would be healed praying Margaret Mary’s novena. Gemma would start the novena for the first day, and then immediatly forget to continue the prayers the next day. The week after, Gemma heard a voice tell her to continue the prayers. She was so tired she couldn’t even remember whether she obeyed the voice. The next night, the voice spoke into her ear, scolding her whether she honestly expects to get a miracle this way. The lights went out, leaving her in darkness, Gemma tried to cry for help but no sound left her. A warm hand, reassuringly, touched her forehead and another grasped her hand. It told her Margaret Mary wants to heal her but could not due to Gemma’ lack of devotion to prayer. Gemma felt calm and the pain subsided. The visitor then told Gemma to do two novena’s: One to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the other to Margaret Mary. Every night since, the visitor would arrive and touch Gemma’s forehead and hold her hand under the sheet while they prayed the novenas for nine nights. On the ninth night, the mysterious visitor arrived and told Gemma Jesus and Margaret Mary were pleased with Gemma’s prayers and Jesus granted Margaret Mary permission to heal Gemma. However, Gemma had to promise to become a Salesian nun. Gemma agreed. The next morning, Gemma was healed with a full recovery.
The angles align on the prenatal chart. Transitting Vertex is on her prenatal Medium Caeli. Transitting Ascendant is on her prenatal (and natal) Pluto. “Girl’s (Venus) Hunchback (Pluto) Cured/Corrected (Jupiter) by Heaven (Neptune).” This rulership schema is also on her natal chart. The Ascendant is marking this series of rulerships at Pluto as occuring. Transitting Medium Caeli is conjunct transitting Venus which opposes prenatal Venus: “Girl (Venus) Healed (Venus).”
The chart is timed for two hours and forty-five minutes after the powerful station of Neptune opposing Saturn. At this moment, transiting Medium Caeli is conjunct Gemma’s natal Jupiter. This shows a cure in medical astrology. At the same time, we get the transitting Ascendant on Gemma’s natal and prenatal Pluto (the focal point of her natal t-square). Neptune stations on Gemma’s prenatal Mercury in Gemini. “Girl (Venus) Talking (Mercury) with Angel (Venus) about her Back (Saturn).”
Like eclipses, stations disrupt earth;s energies. Stations of the large, outer planets reverse events by reversing the planet’s inductive couplings with the earth. Pretty much their energy output goes from positive to negative, and vice-versa, thereby causing a change in the direction of the current flow, thus reversing current events.4 It is this type of powerful shift in energy that was required to take a girl dying from tumors and Pott’s disease to perfect health in an instant.
DEATH
Gemma Galgani died undergoing a mystical crucifixion, after months of illness and physical demonic attacks. Gemma died an during an eclipse.
The prenatal chart shows the death: Transit Venus conjunct Prenatal Pluto Transit Sun semisextile her Saturn (Bedridden Girl’s Life Ends), A Juno Return (Death); Uranus aspects Transit Sun (Exit Life).
The preceding was to show prenatal charts’ validity. They display events just as natal charts do. By doing so, the astrologer can validate or rectify events.
A Catholic prayer that absolves venial sins and prepares the soul for confession. Gemma had already made a confession earlier that day, so, the request is interesting. Her Act of Contrition formula I do not know, because the standard Latin format given came from the pope that succeeded Pope Leo and her’s death.
Gemma was in 24/7 contatct with her Guardian Angel, as if he was a regular person always with her she can touch talk and interact in the world with. So, she is likely describing the angel physically lifting and helping her into bed like a nurse.
"Extraordinary” as opposed to “Ordinary.” The Church uses the term “extraordinary” in a literal way to mean “not the usual” (such as “Extraordinary Mass” for the Missal of 1962). Gemma was often told by her directors to ask Jesus to put her on the “ordinary path” of sanctity and penance, as opposed to the “extraordinary” that involved stigmata and other mysticism.
