Fire Bombing of Sacred Heart
The 1978 arson of a basilica
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Atlanta, is a historic Catholic parish that was designated as a basilica in 2010, making it the 67th minor basilica in the United States. A basilica is a Catholic church given an elevated status such that they are permitted to display the keys of St. Peter. A Catholic can attend service at a basilica on certain designated days to remove temporal sin, time and suffering in purgatory and possibly life.
The chart for the parish being declared a basilica shows action with the Uranus’ and Saturn. We have a Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in Libra (Saturn) showing a “Religious (Jupiter) Structure (Saturn) Dedicated (Saturn). Transist Uranus is sextiling this conjunction to show it being “Designated.” We also have transit Uranus on the basilica’s medium caeli, showing an import event regarding it’s “career” and “way to heaven” through the designation (Uranus) while semisquaring its Sun.
In the 1970s, the area surrounding the parish became a seedy part of Atlanta known as “The Triangle,” full of porn shops and prostitutes. Young girls (most teens) would go to the parish to flee a life of prostitution. Fr. Michael Morris and, a nun, Sr. Frances Ann Cook were the first points of contact for these girls. The church served prostitutes, drug addicts, and the homeless.
Apparently someone really liked his hookers and porn and decided to fire bomb the parish. This occurred on June 4, 1978 at 03:33. The arson was never solved.
The transits, by itself, show the fire: Saturn conjunct Mars = “Arson (Mars) structure (Saturn).” These two planets then aspect the Church’s Sun and Saturn at 105 degrees. The 105 degree, Johndro has a more negative aspect. So, “Arson (Mars) on Structure (Saturn).” And “Blazing (Sun) Fire (Mars).” With transit Saturn we can read: “Blazing (Sun) Structure (Saturn)” and “Razed (Saturn) Structure (Saturn).”
There are also Moon-Mars aspects. Transit Moon squares Sacred Heart’s Mars. “Arson (Mars) at Night (Moon).” We get the same with transit Mars at a 15 degree aspect with Sacred Heart’s Moon.
The Uranuses and Plutos are all in aspect, as well. “Sudden (Uranus) Destruction (Pluto).” Transit Uranus is quincunxing Sacred Heart’s Pluto, and semisextiling transit Pluto. It is also in a semisextile with Sacred Heart’s Juno (raze).
