Excommunication
Vigano Excommunicated
Vigano is no longer Catholic, let alone an archbishop. Really, he hasn’t been for years. Vigano has been spouting that Pope Francis is a heretic and not a pope for years. Common sense tells us that if someone does not follow the pope, they’re not Catholic. Under Code of Canon Law, those who dissent against the Catholic Church are under an automatic excommunication, latae sententiae (CIC 1364:1). Only eight other sins incur an automatic excommunication: getting or aiding in an abortion (CIC 1398), violating the sacred species (CIC 1367), physically attacking the pope (CIC 1370:1), sacramentally absolving an accomplice in a sexual sin (CIC 1378:1), consecrating a bishop without authorization (CIC 1382), and directly violating the seal of confession (1388:1). That’s how serious treating the Pope like he’s a US President is.
It should be noted, that obeying the Church is under the Profession of Faith, as well.
This is the final line in the Profession of Faith every Catholic makes in their confirmation. But, if you’re a Catholic on YouTube you forget or are too smart for it. Unfortunately for them, this is also under Canon Law: Can. 752 “Although not an assent of faith, a religious submission of the intellect and will must be given to a doctrine which the Supreme Pontiff or the college of bishops declares concerning faith or morals when they exercise the authentic magisterium, even if they do not intend to proclaim it by definitive act; therefore, the Christian faithful are to take care to avoid those things which do not agree with it.”
An excommunication is a removal of someone from the Catholic Church. In practice, this means they cannot partake of any sacraments, namely this means they cannot take the Eucharist at mass. In the case of someone with holy orders, such as Vigano, they are removed from office as well. In order to lift the excommunication, the person must go to the bishop of the jurisdiction (save for abortions where Pope Francis recently gave any priest the competency to lift the excommunication for abortion).
Vigano was formally excommunicated in July 4 2024. So, while he was automatically excommunicated for pushing schism, the Vatican decided to make it formal and public and official. He was accused of making "public statements resulting in a denial of the elements necessary to maintain communion with the Catholic Church: denial of the legitimacy of Pope Francis, breaking of communion with him, and rejection of the Second Vatican Council. Schism.
Johndro does not have “excommunicate” in his dictionary. So, instead, we must work with the associations we got. “Leave” is a possible word to use, found in Uranus. The most obvious thing on this chart is that Vigano is old enough to be undergoing a Uranus Return. Uranus is also “illegal.” So, certainly, the Uranus Return is at play in his excommunication.
Another major aspect is Mercury conjunct his Pluto. “Communicating (Mercury) a Crime (Pluto).” Further, he has a Pluto opposition going on. Pluto is crimes as well as things that are gone (such as his title as Archbishop).
The other opposition is Juno and Saturn, both in transit. Juno is Saturnian. Saturn is “barred” and “end.” Saturn is in Pisces (Pluto = Crime). Juno is in Virgo (Jupiter = Law). Juno 18 Virgo = “Catholic (Neptune) Law (Jupiter) Court (Jupiter) Bars (Juno) Priest (Saturn).” Saturn 19 Pisces = “Priest’s (Saturn) Crimes (Pluto) and Dissent (Uranus) Catholics (Neptune) Convict (Pluto).” Or “Deserts (Pluto) Catholicism (Neptune).” There may be better ways to phrase this, but, that’s the idea.
On the Vatican’s chart, the Saturn-Juno opposition squares Vatican’s Mercury. You can also see Transit Vertex on Vatican’s Pluto (Crimes and Convictions). Remember, I read angles as “Important Thing Happens.” This point also aspects the Saturn-Juno opposition. Transiting Mercury-Pluto opposition is also on Vatican’s vertex axis.
This was a quick look at an excommunication. Probably the best planet governing excommunication is Saturn which governs ends and barring and arrests and prisoners.
