A priest murdered during mass

“How sweet it is to die at the feet of Mary.” - Leo Heinrichs.

Leo Heinrichs was a German priest who worked in America. On February 23rd, 1908, Leo Heinrichs was performing the early morning mass. While distributing holy communion, a man at the altar rail, to receive, pulled out a gun and shot Leo Heinrichs dead. The killer was an anti-Catholic who wanted to kill a priest.

Leo Heinrichs has had a cause of beatification open since 1938.

Below is his chart with an unknown birth time.

PRIESTLY ORDINATION

He was ordained as a priest on July 26, 1891. Below is the biwheel. I assume a morning hour for ordinations, unless I know otherwise.

Transit Moon is conjunct his Neptune. Moon is observation. Neptune is Catholicism. So, something Catholic is being observed. The Aries rulers between 11 and 15 Aries can spell out “Declaring (Mercury) Young Man (Venus) as Religious (Jupiter) Clergy (Mercury).” Transit Mercury is in conjunct with his Sun and MC indicating an important event. Transit Sun is also conjunct his Mercury. So, we have a double Sun/Mercury conjunction. The Sun behaves as a spotlight and marker of important events. The Mercurys are showing Heinrichs as a clergy member.

JUNO: Transit Juno is conjunct his Jupiter at three degrees because I don’t care about tight orbs when the aspect makes sense. Here, Juno is ingressing Pisces. An ingress is a powerful transit indicating something important. Juno’s conjunct with Jupiter shows a death at a religious event. Further, Juno is in a 1 degree quincunx with Heinrichs’ Juno. The quincunx aspect will be discussed further, below, but, for now, know it is of Mars and Jupiter, and Neptune and Saturn. This aspect also puts Transit Juno in a broad aspect with Heinrichs’ Mars. But, even if you don’t call that aspect, Transit Juno is 0 degrees parallel his Mars, an even more powerful aspect much like a conjunction. While Mars can be as benign as “Occurrence,” thus “Fatal (Juno) Occurrence (Mars)”, these aspects will be shown to be more significant.

This point of early Pisces is significant, because it is the point of his nearest birth eclipse. There was a total eclipse, a few days after he was born, on 29 August 1867 at 5 Pisces. Eclipses amplify the planets where the eclipse occurred on your natal chart and show the planets that have you “eclipse others” (to quote Johndro’s pun). This is the point on a chart that gives the person their claim to fame. So, the eclipse is showing these early Pisces degrees are significant for Heinrichs, (and, so of course we can call that Juno conjunct his Jupiter at a 3 degree orb.)

DEATH TRANSIT

Saturn is conjunct his Chiron. This is more evidence that Chiron may have something to do with marytrdom. Martyred (Chiron) Priest (Saturn). Johndro also has Saturn as being associated with martyrdom.

Transit Ascendant is conjunct his Sun/Moon opposition. Ascendants mark important events. Heinrichs’ Moon is at 22 degrees 31’ Aquarius. “Criminal (Pluto) with Gun (Uranus) at Godly (Jupiter) Catholic (Neptune) Food (Moon).” The Jupiter and Neptune subrulers with the Moon show Holy Communion. Another interpretation is: "A meal (☽) becomes (♆) consecrated (♃) by a leader (⛢) who's victimized (♇)" Heindrichs’ Sun is at 22 degrees 07’ Leo, perfect opposition to his Moon, and thus on the Event’s Descendant. This spells, “Gun (Uranus) Murdered (Mars) Innocent (Venus) Godly (Jupiter) Life (Sun).” More interpretations are: "A Vital ☉ Respectable ♃ Member ♀ is Penetrated ♂ by a Bullet ⛢;" "Unexpected ⛢ Pain ♂ is Felt ♀ by a Citizen ♃ who's Wise ☉;" "Gun ⛢ Fire ♂ is Associated ♀ with a Religious ♃ Being ☉."¹

Heinrichs’ Mars is at 2 degrees Libra conjunct Juno, at 1 degree Libra. Juno is Saturnian. Saturn is of death, arrests, and marriage bonds, and subsets of all these. Another note: These interpretations are in hindsight. If I were to read Heindrichs’ chart while he was alive, I would see the Mars/Juno in Libra conjunction as a sign of his spouse (before he became a priest), and his Mars as his expression of activity. In fact, you can read it as “Actions (Mars) of a Priest (Saturn).” With further subrulers, the placement is: “Active (Mars) Preaching (Mercury) Dogmatic (Saturn) Priest (Saturn),” or a number of other Saturnian words (unpretentious, scrawny, recluse, monk…) But, with Juno there, we have a mark of death: “Fatally (Juno) Murdered (Mars) Dead (Saturn) while Preaching (Mercury) Priest (Saturn).”

In fact, what happened is that day Mars ingresses Taurus at 0 degrees to aspect Heinrichs’ Juno at a 0 degree quincunx. A quincunx is of Mars and Jupiter subtones, and Saturn and Neptune subtones. The East planet is the ingressing “Mars: [Attacks (Mars) and Kills (Mars) Preaching (Mercury) Priest (Saturn)] + East Planet: [Attacks (Mars) Religious (Jupiter)] + West Planet: Fatal (Juno) Death (Saturn) of a Catholic (Neptune).”

We also have transit Sun at a quincunx with Heinrich’s Mars and Juno, and conjunct his Jupiter in Pisces. Again, we have the quincunx subtones of Mars and Jupiter, and Saturn and Neptune, both showing the attack and death of a religious. The planets spell “Criminal (Pluto) Kills (Mars) Religious (Jupiter) Priest’s (Saturn) Life (Sun).” Or, it could read: “Criminal (Pluto) Kills (Mars) Religious (Jupiter) Priest (Saturn) at Dawn (Sun).” This attack happened shortly before or at sunrise which was at 06:48. These early degrees of Pisces are the same point where the eclipse occured shortly after Heinrichs’ birth.

Leo Heinrichs was born in Germany, and later moved to the US where he then moved to a parish in Denver, Colorado, where he was killed. In his birth locality chart for Denver, Leo Heinrichs Medium Caeli is conjunct Aldeberan at 2 degrees 30 minutes. In this case, it appears Aldeberan’s association with a violent death is apt. The MC also trines Mars (violence) at 2 degrees, and squares Jupiter (religion) at 1 degree. There is also a 0 degree sextile with Mercury (preaching). The planetary aspects, by themselves, can simply show the move being something for his role as a priest. But, the conjunct with Aldeberan and the Mars trine, combined with the Saturn subruler can read as a violent death.
